I am remoted into my home workstation almost all the time I am not home and have an Internet connection. I need access to my source code, documents and I like my e-mail setup much better. This morning I almost had a cow because I got a crash in AtBroker.exe, which I had not clue what it was.
Turns out it is a critical component to Vista's Remote Desktop Interface. I thought I was dead in the water, but I found Steve Patrick's Blog entry about dealing with the AtBroker.exe crash. Basically you can do the Ctrl+Alt+END combo and try to log off. If you have some unsaved work you can just cancel that and pick up right where you are, otherwise you will be logged off and have to log right back on. Hope this helps you out!
